Passionate about colours, plants, the animal world, as well as architecture, especially the Romanesque churches in my adopted region of Burgundy, I have been painting in watercolour for several years.
My world is highly varied depending on the seasons, my state of mind, and the subjects that move me.
Watercolour
The transparency, the blending of pigments, is always magical.
I paint both small and large formats, the latter being reserved for close-up flower depictions, which allows me to capture the intricate details of the plants, the velvety texture of a rose petal, the delicacy of hydrangea blooms, and the abundant petals of peonies.
Pastel
For pastels, I am often inspired by birds and animals, as feathers, fur, or wool are a joy to render, but it is the animal’s gaze that remains the most intense.
Strong contrasts can also be striking when working with fruits.
Art Cards
The art card collection showcases a selection of my artistic works, encompassing various techniques such as watercolour, pastels, and ink drawings.
These art cards in a "postal" format are printed locally in Burgundy on textured paper made in France.

Salon Art Capital - Grand Palais Ephémère, PARIS, 14th-18th February
Having one of my watercolours selected for the Art Capital Salon at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris in 2024 was a wonderful moment of recognition.
Being able to admire the multitude of works in all their diversity, discover magnificent sculptures, the delicacy of beautiful engravings - this exhibition was rich in creations.
It will remain a truly beautiful artistic event.

New Technique Explored
As I enjoy experimenting with new artistic techniques, I also create zinc engravings in limited editions, using a French "Chartreuse" press.
